NSHM stands for four Latin words, i.e., Notabilis, Sociatrix, Humanus, and Maxime which means "Noteworthy Collaboration for Best Development of Humankind". NSHM is one of the best multidisciplinary higher education institutions, located in the heart of Kolkata, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), a public university in West Bengal and accredited by UGC. 

NSHM comprises two campuses i.e., NSHM Durgapur Campus and NSHM Kolkata Campus. By 2025, NSHM may get the status of a full-fledged university. Until that, MAKAUT will award degrees to the students.

Scholarship 
NSHM Knowledge Campus provides scholarships and financial assistance to eligible students based on their academic performance and other criteria. Bangladeshi and foreign students may get scholarships at NSHM for funding higher studies in India. To avail of the scholarship, applicants will have to book seats well in advance. 

International Admission
Every year only a few foreign students get a chance to study at NSHM Kolkata and NSHM Durgapur under the foreign quota defined by the UGC. Therefore, we advise foreign students to book their seats from November to December each year. 

NSHM has approved international counselors across the globe who help international students for admission with scholarships. 

In Bangladesh, GEE Bangladesh is one of the authorized counseling centers of NSHM Kolkata and NSHM Durgapur where students may get all authentic information. We advise students to visit the GEE Bangladesh office to complete the admission and visa process.
