Pandit Deendayal Energy University-PDEU is one of the NAAC A++ grade universities in India, which means quality education is priority based ensured at PDEU. Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) was established in 2007 at Gandhinagar, the capital of Indian state Gujarat. During the 8th convocation, Prime Minister of India sensing the progress made by PDPU requested the Government of Gujarat to change the name of PDPU to PDEU. Hence in Jan 2021, PDPU became PDEU. Earlier it was known as Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI).

Energy and energy infrastructure are critical to any country for the development and sustainability. Considering the importance, India has taken a comprehensive strategy to address the concerns of energy security. PDPU is just not a university; its a research center of India's National Importance.

SCHOLARSHIPS at PDEU
Being a not for profit university, PDEU offers 70% merit-based undergraduate scholarship and 50% merit-based scholarship to the students from financially backward countries and SAARC nations. 

SII Scholarship at PDEU 
Students who will apply through Study in India programs and if anyone qualify for the SII Scholarship in undergraduate level will get three years total tuition, hostel and food cost waiver. In such a case, they will pay only fourth year tuition fees as per the university norms. SII Scholarship holders in postgraduate level will get two years total tuition fee, hostel and food cost waiver. While applying through Study in India website applicants will have to select PDEU as the first preference. 

INTERNATIONAL ADMISSION at PDEU 
International admission at Pandit Deendayal Energy University-PDEU is highly competitive. Admission seekers may appear for an entrance test or interview. Due to limitation of seats, admission will be served only on first come first serve basis. So, we suggest international students to book their seat well in advance.

GEE Bangladesh is one of the authorized representatives of Pandit Deendayal Energy University-PDEU. So, students may book their seat through GEE Bangladesh from 1st December 2022 for the upcoming admission session.
