The authority of Pandit Deendayal Energy University-PDEU, Gujarat, India has announced international admission for the academic year 2023. The admission application portal is open now for international students. PDEU will award a maximum scholarship to international students in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

Students from financially backward countries may apply for up to 75% of undergraduate scholarships and 50% for postgraduate studies. PDEU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses under four schools: the School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology, School of Petroleum Management, and the School of Liberal Arts. 

According to PDEU Admission 2023 announcement, students may apply to study 4-year BA (Hons) programs with scholarships under the School of Liberal Arts. There are eight BA (Hons) programs available under the PDEU School of Liberal Arts. Find a list of four years of BA (Hons) programs at PDEU from the chart below.

Availability of 4-year BA (Hons) Programs in India 
As per the Indian education system, most of the universities and higher education institutions offer a 3-year BA (Hons) Program in various disciplines. From a global perspective, 3-years BA (Hons) programs are not equivalent to 4-years (Hons) programs in many countries. As a result, 3-year degree achievers face many problems when they repatriate to their own countries. 

For example, BA (Hons) programs are for four years in Bangladesh. 3-years Bachelor's Degree from any country is equivalent to BA (PASS) degree in Bangladesh. As a result, a 3-year Bachelor's Degree holder faces various problems in terms of equivalency and getting job placement.   

Very few Indian universities offer 4-year BA (Hons) programs. Luckily, PDEU in India offers 4-year BA (Hons) programs under the School of Liberal Arts. This means PDPU is one of the few universities in India to offer 4-year BA(Hons) Programs for Indian and International students.
